Spatiotemporal analysis of the linkage between environmental degradation and flood susceptibility in an urban tropical wetland ecosystem

A benchmark of large language models for spatially informed proposal generation in local search for the p-median problem

This study evaluates the spatial reasoning of three frontier large language models (LLMs) by embedding them as proposal generators within a local search framework for the discrete p-median problem. Tested on six standard TSPLIB point sets across varying facility counts, the LLM-guided search was benchmarked against exact mixed-integer programming and five classical heuristics. How customer requirements impact the operational performance of LTL carriers
